Project Details:
Original System built in 1943, restored in November/ December, 1998
Project cost approximately 1/3 of a new system
Estimated economic life of, at least, another 50 years
All motors rebuilt and fully restored
Replaced insulation (asbestos) with 1200oF high efficiency fiberglass boards
Modernized temperature and combustion controls to NFPA-86 and FM Standards
Replaced antiquated conveyor drive with Allen-Bradley 1305 Series Variable Frequency Drive
Added replacement steel sidewalls and metallic silver paint finish
