| This rotary or calcining furnace system
is presently located in the Chicago area at a former combustion research
facility. The kiln is in excellent condition and would be ideal for
calcining materials, drying, roasting, and other operations and processes
requiring such a system. As the system presently is it features primarily
just the kiln assembly itself, brick lined and operable to upwards of 2300
degrees F. There are a series of ports for charging and discharging
the kiln. As the kiln requires a drive system and heating source,
it is easily configurable to a specific application - AND AVAILABLE AT
A VERY REASONABLE PRICE!
Features include:
-Maximum operation
temperature of 2300 degrees F
-Overall size of
20 feet long by 6 feet wide (subject to confirmation)
-A variety of heating
sources are available on site or through DELTA H
-Custom drive systems
are readily available through GRAINGER or other mechanical system supply
