| General
Description: Kiln system for firing high temperature ceramics
in an air or inert atmosphere to 1500 C. Power rating is 54 KW at
480 VAC, 3-Phase, 60Hz. Load area is 36 inches deep, 24 inches wide,
24 inches high (30 inches high to the top of the arch) with 3 independent
zones of temperature (top, middle, and bottom). Maximum continuous
operating temperature is 1500C. The shell is in good condition, shows
no signs of refractory deterioration (no "hot spots"), and is constructed
for use with inert atmospheres. The overall condition of the kiln
system is very good. The refractory requires minor repairs for various
cracks in the walls and hearth. O.E.M. parts and service available
from UNIQUE/PERENY KILNS or from DELTA H.
Heating Elements and Power Controls: Silicon carbide rod type. SCR power control, power transformer, tap switch, and amp meter for each of 3 zones of temperature control. Controls: LFE with master temperature programmer and 3 slave setpoint controllers, one for each zone. Eurotherm, Partlow, Honeywell, or other controls available. Price: Best offer - warranty available (new systems cost $60,000 to $80,000). These kilns offer an excellent opportunity to expand production capacity at a very reasonable cost. |
