The Model 419 PWM Valve Controller is designed to control the drive current to either a pressure relief valve or a flow control valve.  The Model 419 is economical, reliable, compact and easy to install.  Its measurements, exclusive of the control cable, control potentiometer and knob are: length = 4.25 in., with = 2.38 in., and height = 1.10 in.  The Model 419 employs pulse width modulation to provide control of high current valves while keeping power dissipation, (heat), within the controller very low.  Pulse width modulation permits a variable duty cycle of the rectangular wave drive signal.  The duty cycle of the rectangular wave form may be varied from 0% to 100%, with 0% corresponding to zero coil current and 100% corresponding to maximum coil current.
